Spicy Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet potatoes are incredibly satisfying, especially for those who cut out most grain source foods. Root vegetables provide us with a complex carb to fill us up. Often times, a plain baked sweet potato can be boring and monotonous. Try this remix on a french fry idea!
Spicy Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 ½ tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Wash off the excess dirt from the potatoes and pat dry.
- Cut the potatoes into french fry sized shapes, about ½ inch per slice.
- In a large bowl, toss together the potato sticks, oil (which may need be be melted slightly in the microwave), smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Lay flat on a greased pan.
- Bake for about 15 minutes and remove from oven.
- Flip over each french fry.
- Bake for another 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle with a little fresh salt.
