The Body Electric

Posted on January 4, 2016 by Dr. G

Last week we discussed that the impact food has on our body is not purely biochemical; rather, the ultimate purpose of our food is to provide us with a supply of electrons in a high-energy state to power the energy needs of our body. We alluded to the idea that understanding what contributes to the flow and supply of electrons in the body will give us the opportunity to decrease our dependence on food as an energy source.

Part II. The Body Electric

The purpose of food is to supply us with a steady source of high-energy electrons, which actually do the ”work” of the body. This truth has been known for quite some time, but never discussed in the context of biology. Biological science seems to have stopped at the level of biochemistry. The next logical step for biological science is to delve into the world of particle physics to explain energy and where it comes from, and to redefine our need for food.

But the science of particle physics has been around for over 100 years. What are the biological sciences waiting for? The reason for their reluctance is that the physics of particles are only observed experimentally in highly controlled environments. The researchers use particle accelerators, extremely low temperatures, no light and no chance of variables coming into play that would alter the observations. It is kind of like the rooms where the computer engineers wear the body suits in the ultra clean rooms to make semiconductors for technology companies;  rooms where a dust particle could ruin everything. In these extreme controlled environments, researchers observe characteristics of particles that defy all logic and result in particle behaviors that are counterintuitive and seemingly impossible.

Living, breathing cells are in warm, moist environments where observations of particle behaviors are impossible. If we cannot observe them, does that mean that the laws of particle physics are not in play? Of course not. If we ignored particle physics, we would have never got past the technology of the 1930’s. Particle physics are the reason we have things like modern electronics, smart phones, 4K televisions, satellites, space travel, and electric cars. Why have we ignored particle physics in biology? Stopping at biochemistry and discussing calories in and calories out to explain modern disease and weight gain is like trying to continue to explain the universe around us with Newtonian physics after Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity was confirmed, which would have prevented us from the technological advancements we now take for granted.

What impacts our flow of high-energy electrons?

Electrons in a high-energy state and which are in flow will drive our ability to produce energy and work. If the electrons we have are low energy or have poor flow in the body, our energy production will decline.

Solar radiation in the form of light, geography (latitude in which we live), the season, water and food all impact our quality of electrons and the energy in which they flow. We have dramatically altered our exposure to these properties that evolution so carefully managed for 600 million years. The premise is that if we get the proper sun exposure, access to ‘living’ water and the earth’s magnetic field (NOT the electromagnetic field of our devices, appliances, fixtures and power lines), then we will have the ability to manage our energy needs.

This state is amazing to experience because the fact is that the more disconnected you are from the earth, the more you will need to depend on food for all of your energy production. In addition, your energy will come from the simplest, easiest sources, like sugar and processed foods that are easily broken down to their basic parts. The more connected you are to the earth, sun, and living water, the less you would need to eat. The fact is, you could do very well consuming one major meal per day without craving more. Intermittent fasting no longer becomes an exercise in willpower, it becomes the craved or desired physiological state.

Intermittent fasting has recently been shown to increase the production of new brain cells in the hippocampus (think Alzheimer’s and dementia), improve memory and learning, cause fat cell apoptosis (programmed cell death), and reduced inflammation. Fasting stimulates the replacement gut and skin cells, reverses adverse lipid profiles, and more. With all of these benefits, wouldn’t you think that regularly being in the fasted state would be a normal healthy place to be on a regular basis? This is not by accident. 600 million years of evolution and axiomatic scientific and physiologic truths trump the double-blind placebo controlled study for scientific validity. Know the rules and live by them the best you can. Let the brilliance of 600 million years of evolution assist you in restoring your health.

Let there be light.

The production of high-energy electrons on this planet as food begins and ends with the sun. Solar energy, water and carbon dioxide are used to create biomass in the form of vegetation through photosynthesis. That biomass, or vegetation, is consumed by animals, thus transferring that solar energy to the animal life form to use for the energy that is required to move about the planet. Plants and trees are permanently connected to the earth and its electromagnetic properties, steady supply of water and full exposure to a steady flow of photons from the sun that is appropriate for their geography. Animals move across the earth and are therefore not fully connected to the earth. An animal’s energy needs are greater than a plant because of the energy requirements of being mobile.

However, animal life evolved on the same planet as the plants did. To assume that animal biology is not tied to the sun cycles, earth’s electromagnetic field, temperature fluctuations, and seasons, just as plant biology is tied to those very same properties, is crazy and no one would suggest otherwise. Look at what happens to people during space travel (the ultimate disconnection from the earth). You will see the very rapid onset of everything we see here on earth that would contribute to chronic disease. Mind you, this happens to astronauts over the period of 3 months. Astronauts must be incredibly physically fit in order to travel in space, yet after a few months they have abnormal blood pressure, blood sugar, sleep cycles, depression, and osteoporosis.

Never forget where you are from.

We are guilty of ignoring the importance of these important terrestrial properties. For all of human history and the animal life that preceded humans, animal life could not not escape these fundamental properties of our planet and solar system…until now.

Ask yourself, what are the consequences? What can I do to ameliorate the effects of these actions and still live my modern life? The answers will follow in posts to come and with them will come a greater and greater understanding of how to use these principles in practice.
